Almond Mask

About Almonds

Almonds are rich in antioxidants and vitamins. Almonds are good for the brain and memory as well as the skin. Almonds are full of proteins, fiber, and help things like high cholesterol, blood sugar, and helps manage weight. For the skin, almonds can help smooth out skin leaving it soft as a baby’s bum.


How to make Almond Mask

Ingredients:

-Almonds (1/4 cup)
-Water (as needed)
-Honey (1/2 teaspoon)
-Rose Water (few drops)
-Milk (1/2 teaspoon for mask, opt out if you want to make a scrub)

Directions:

1. Crush almonds, you can use a handheld blender or do it the old fashion way, by putting them into a zip lock and crushing them with something hard.
2. Mix together ingredients, if you want to make a scrub do not use milk and apply scrub on face or body and use circular motion to exfoliate, wash with warm water.
3. For a mask, you want to mix together all ingredients including the milk, so it thins out a bit, however be careful how much water you put, you only need enough to thin it out into a thin paste.
4. Once you rinse your face and pat it dry, apply the mask and leave it till it dries, maybe about 15 minutes.
5. Wash off mask with warm water and follow up with the rest of your skin care routine.

This mask will help get rid of hyperpigmentation (dark spots & discoloration) and acne scars, while exfoliating your skin and removing impurities. This mask is also suitable for people with sensitive skin, however you should always check which ingredients suit your skin.
